Four of Atlanta’s busiest attractions sit within a few miles of each other, and each one runs its own parking surface with its own rates, hours and rules. There is no single “downtown attractions lot” — what works for a Fox Theatre show does not carry over to the Georgia Aquarium, and the deck you parked in at the Botanical Garden will not scan your Coca-Cola ticket.
The rules genuinely differ from venue to venue. One has a published per-visit rate, one publishes only a rate range, one names a garage but no rate at all, and the fourth prices by the half-hour. Knowing which is which before you drive is the whole point of this guide.
What follows comes from each venue’s own official parking page, checked on 26 October 2026. Rates and hours change, so the venue pages linked below are always the authority over anything stated here.
Fox Theatre
The Fox Theatre is at 660 Peachtree Street NE, and it does not operate its own dedicated garage. Instead, a number of public lots around the theatre handle its crowds. The Fox Theatre’s directions and parking page says parking rates typically range from $15 to $75, depending on the lot and the event.
The timing matters as much as the price. Lots typically open two hours before showtime and stay staffed until one hour after the event ends. You can prepay parking by adding it to your order at foxtheatre.org or by calling the box office at 855-285-8499, and prepaid parking is available up until two hours before showtime.
Prepaying guarantees that the parking operator will hold a spot in that lot until the show begins. However, the operator does not reserve specific spaces; drivers receive spaces, including accessible parking spaces, on a first-come, first-served basis when they arrive.
One rule worth knowing before you drive: you cannot buy parking from the Fox Theatre ticketing office on the day of a show, so either prepay ahead or plan to pay the lot directly when you arrive.
Georgia Aquarium
The Georgia Aquarium runs its own attached deck, and it is the most structured of the four. The Aquarium’s directions and parking page describes a 1,600-space, well-lit deck with covered and rooftop levels, entered from Luckie Street or Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard.
Parking is cashless, so bring a card or a digital payment method. The posted rate is $20 for members and $30 for non-members. There is a hard height limit of 6 feet 8 inches at every entrance and ramp, so tall vehicles will not fit.
You can prepay online and print the ticket to enter, and you re-scan that same ticket to exit. Prepaid parking has no re-entry, and — an easy detail to miss — an Aquarium parking pass is not valid at the World of Coca-Cola decks across the street. For the deck itself, use 357 Luckie Street NW for a direct route.
World of Coca-Cola
World of Coca-Cola sits in the Centennial Park District at 121 Baker Street NW, with its garage around the corner at 126 Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard NW.
The plan your visit page lists the garage address, and the FAQ confirms that parking is available in the garage for all visitors.
The venue does not publish an hourly or daily parking rate on its visit pages, so budget for a downtown garage rate and check the live page before you go. One fee is stated: a lost ticket costs $25. Buses and oversized vehicles taller than 7 feet, wider than 8 feet, or longer than 16 feet should use the Georgia World Congress Center marshaling yard instead of the garage.
Atlanta Botanical Garden
The Atlanta Botanical Garden in Midtown shares its parking deck with Piedmont Park, and the split is enforced by level. The Garden’s plan your visit page explains that Garden guests park on levels 4, 5 and 6 via the Piedmont Avenue entrance, while Piedmont Park visitors use levels 1, 2 and 3 via the Monroe Drive entrance.
The SAGE Parking Facility accepts only card payments and does not accept cash. It charges no fee for the first 30 minutes, $3 for 31–60 minutes, and an additional $2 for every subsequent 30-minute period, up to a maximum daily rate of $30. A lost ticket costs $30, and the facility is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day.
Parking on the wrong level risks a boot, so follow the entrance for the destination you actually came to visit.
Two practical notes follow from the Garden’s own schedule. The Garden is open Tuesday through Sunday, so Monday is a day to check before you make the drive at all.
And because the deck is shared with Piedmont Park, the Garden-guest levels fill during warm-weather weekends and festivals — arriving at opening is the reliable way to get a Garden-level space rather than a park level.
When MARTA beats driving
For the three downtown attractions — the Fox Theatre, the Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola — MARTA is a realistic fallback that sidesteps the lots entirely. The Aquarium’s page notes it is a 10- to 15-minute walk from the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center station on the Blue and Green lines, or from the Civic Center and Peachtree Center stations on the Red and Gold lines.
The Botanical Garden is farther from rail, so driving is the more common choice there. If you are arriving by transit or want the full picture of station lots and fares, see our MARTA station parking guide.
How the four compare
The Aquarium is the only one of the four with a published per-visit rate ($20 members, $30 non-members) and the only one with a height limit. The Fox Theatre publishes a rate range but leaves the final price to the individual lot. World of Coca-Cola publishes a garage and a lost-ticket fee but no posted rate.
The Botanical Garden publishes the most granular schedule, priced by the half-hour with a $30 daily cap.
One more difference worth flagging: how each handles payment. The Aquarium and the Garden are both cashless, which means carrying only cash will strand you. The Fox lots vary by operator, so assume card but confirm before you walk to the theatre. Coca-Cola’s garage is the least specified of the four, so give yourself a small buffer for either method.
A day that strings several attractions together usually means picking one deck and walking, because the attractions cluster within a few blocks downtown.
The Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola are adjacent, the Fox Theatre is a short drive or MARTA ride north, and the Botanical Garden is a separate Midtown stop — so plan the deck around the attraction you will be at longest, and walk the rest.
What to check before you rely on any of this
Venue rates and hours are set by each attraction and can change seasonally or for special events. The figures here are what each venue published as of October 2026, so treat them as a planning baseline, not a guarantee.
The live pages are the authority. Check the Fox Theatre page for Fox lots, and the Georgia Aquarium page for the aquarium deck.
For the Coca-Cola garage, see World of Coca-Cola. For the Garden deck, see the Atlanta Botanical Garden plan-your-visit page.
If you are headed to a game or a concert instead, see our game day parking guide for the stadium and arena district, which runs a different set of lots. The wider picture for arriving in the city lives in the City of Atlanta parking hub.
